Native Village of Eklutna Child Advocacy Center
Our mission is to provide a model social service program that
will assist Alaska Natives to meet essential needs by promoting
healthy lifestyles, tribal strength, unity, and cultural
perpetuation while advocating for multi-cultural and
multi-government respect, trust and understanding throughout
Alaska.
The Eklutna Child Advocacy Center was created to assist NVE
Tribal Members and other Alaska Native and American Indian
families with ICWA (Indian Child Welfare Act) intervention in
child neglect and abuse cases. Tribe & Family Advocates can help
with non-member interventions, and through a Tribal Resolution,
can help other Tribes with child neglect & abuse cases. The
Center also actively recruits foster and adoptive homes for
Native children.
