Family Supportive Services
Our Family Supportive Services Goal is
“To strengthen the family to protect the children by teaching
communication and parenting skills, while empowering and
assisting members to face and overcome personal challenges”
Eklutna Family Supportive Services assists NVE Tribal Members,
other Alaska Native and American Indian families, and other
tribes with ICWA (Indian Child Welfare Act) intervention in
child neglect and abuse cases. Tribe & Family Advocates can
help with non-member interventions; and through Tribal
Resolution, help other Tribes with child neglect & abuse cases.
Eklutna Family Services also provides case management,
preventative assistance, behavioral health, and referral
services. We actively recruit foster and adoptive homes for
Native children.
Contact hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00
